Teresa L. Gregersen, ABD, LPCC, LAC, ACP®
Teresa Gregersen is a licensed mental health counselor and Advanced Certified Paralegal, specializing in humanistic approaches to mental health care. She is also a doctoral candidate, completing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. With more than 25 years of intrapreneurship experience, Teresa’s trusted and collaborative style allows her to effectively leverage the creativity and strengths of leaders, leading to significant growth and innovation within established businesses.
Teresa has a passion for value-based performance, behavioral health services payment reform, and program development addressing health equity needs of populations. While serving as an Associate Director at a Fortune 15 company and as a Project Manager at a Fortune 100 company, Teresa developed customized, individually tailored, comprehensive training programs covering technical skills, company policies, and professional development. Teresa currently serves as Adjunct Faculty at Naropa University, where she designs and teaches courses in psychology and counseling.
Teresa is dedicated to advocating for people who are routinely denied access to services and subject to discrimination. As a mental health clinician, Teresa has supported several hospitals, health systems and provider organizations by providing direct care servicing adults and adolescents experiencing acute and chronic mental illness, substance use disorders, and houselessness.
Teresa conducts research in the areas of social justice and advocacy, artificial intelligence, and value-based care. She is a sought after speaker who facilitates experiential workshops across disciplines on cultural competence and humility, educating employers and employees about discrimination, oppression, and bias.
